DeleteI received Life Book 2015 as a Christmas Gift last year, it has changed my life, It makes my spirit soar. I can't wait for my Monday email to see the new lesson. It's like Christmas every week. I have never considered myself an artist but Life Book has shown me that I am. Tam and her guest teachers have such gentle and giving spirits, it's an honor to be able to learn from them. It has everything that i am looking for with all my favorite artists, teaching all the styles, techniques and skills i want to learn with mixed media. it is a perfect avenue for me because i need the variety and the weekly schedule to keep me on task. as a full time nurse, and mother, it's hard to find the time to devote to my art but this will keep me on track!! which is therapeutic and best for me!! it will also take me to a place where i can let it all out while finding my niche. thank you so much for the chance to win!!!

I am in such a state of transition- this past decade has been very difficult - surgeries & pain issues - this past summer has been one of my worst - I think the Art and spiritual combination of Life Book will be just what I need to process my grief and step into my next phase of my life so I very much would love a place in this class

You have inspired me to branch out in many different direction. The class at Mason Ohio was awesome and I took home more avenues of art. ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! I would love to win a spot for Lifebook 2016! I have always loved creativity but never felt I had any talent. My older brother has amazing talent with drawing, however I could never draw anything recognizable. Even my stick people don't look right! I love all different mediums and have spent a few years trying everything I could come across, hoping I would find my very own special niche. I now realize at least two things. One, I cannot compare my art to anyone else's art (which is still a struggle to actually put that in place), and two, mixed media is my thing because I get use any yummy supply I want. I have been "collecting" art supplies and I need to put them to good use, which I'm sure Life Book lessons will do :) I had a friend who did it this past year, and I loved, loved seeing her progress and finished pieces.

Your artwork is lovely and if I could win a seat at Life Book it would be so helpfully and inspiring. Life gets discouraging sometimes and this looks like it would be a great pick me up.

ReplyDeleteI just having finished two pieces I used some of your stencils on would love to be in another class where you are teaching. I have loved both the life book classes take in the past and would love to do another. Funds will be tight next year as the plan is to go to Uganda to start an art program for the orphans. Willowing and Friends has been such a wonderful site and I gave myself the gift of Life Book several years ago and again this year. I love the artist journeys Tam takes us on. Hubby retired and money is tight. I so hope to win a spot.

ReplyDeleteI was a member of Lifebook 2012 and I LOVED it! I am still a novice artist and it gave me so much information on techniques, inspiration, and guidance. It helped mold me. Since then the stars haven't lined up to allow me to be able to sign up again, but I really hope to be a part of it in 2016!

ReplyDeleteAhhh I'd love to do LifeBook again this year. I did it the first year and enjoyed it but struggled to fit it in as I was working full time then. Then I had to give up work (various reasons, but mainly dealing with & looking after FIL) and since then funds haven't allowed much for fun stuffs! Thanks for the opportunity to win!

I have recently transitioned from owning my own business (a rubber stamp/scrapbook store) to a fulltime mom of our 2 year old son Riley who has Cystic Fibrosis. I love being his medical advocate and champion and he is my hero I think the LifeBook experience would be a wonderful way to help me document the transformation that is happening in our lives. Unfortunately with me not working, funds aren't readily available for extras like this anymore, so to win it would be a huge blessing! Thanks for the opportunity!

I've taken one of Tam's free classes and her work and way of connecting art and healing has opened a whole new world of art for me.
