I used to be a rubber stamper back in the day, before StencilGirl. Once I became obsessed with stencils, I lost my love for rubber stamps although I do still use them from time to time. As the years went by I will confess I had forgotten about embossing powder. So come along with me as I blast to the past and find a new love in the process!

  12. WOW! I can't believe the difference embossing powder makes in your pages! I never thought of using embossing powder in an art journal . . . but you've changed my mind! Have to check out Emerald Creek -- I'm a big fan of copper/bronze, I'll need to see what they might have!

    Oh my gosh!!! I just love your journal pages-especially that second one!! It is gorgeous! I want to learn how to do art journaling. Any suggestions on where to start? I look at your DTs work and feel inspired yet overwhelmed with all the layering. I want to learn how to do this. I have lots of product but am afraid to dabble-I really need to get over that lol.
