An Excellent Adventure

Our Atlanta trip was terrific. Really fun. There is nothing like spending time with small children. They have such a sense of the moment, living each and every second just as it occurs. Not jumping ahead to the next one, not mentally formatting “to do” lists. They just live. I mean how obvious is that yet so goddamn hard. Needless to say, being with them was exactly what I needed. John too I think. It gives me an immeasurable amount of pleasure to see him with those kids. The trip was just perfect.
