Photo Review of 2012
As I was doing the Art review for 2012, it occurred to me that I take a lot of photos too. I always have this idea that I am going to incorporate them into my art. So far I have not done that, but trust me, I am thinking about it. So, without further ado, here are some of my photos from this past year:
I guess the whole abstract them is pretty obvious, huh?

love all those textures! and I'm pouring over all the new stencil designs you've added of late.
ReplyDeleteOne way to add those photos would be to print them out on tissue paper. There's an article in the last Cloth Paper Scissors on how-to. I tried it yesterday; didn't have the spray tacky stuff, so I used a liquid--way too sticky So then I tried just double-stick tape to the 4 corners of the printer paper and that worked fine. I love how the tissue paper melds into the painting when you glue it on.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm here via Seth, and although I always try to "touch" everyone's space, I don't always make it. I scrolled down a bit, and I'm glad that I did. Enjoy your photos! I use the dang camera as a pretty basic tool for composition, and you've been a bit more creative than I have ever attempted. Good on you. I enjoyed seeing them!
