I love doo-dads, don't you? I've recently been working on several commissions and spent nearly an entire day looking for a teeny tiny hammer. Wouldn't you know I couldn't find one. Now that the piece is completed, I feel sure one will pop up.
Here's a peak at my 'stash'. Really just a portion of it. All these little parts are very appealing to me for some reason. Go figure, huh?
What a fun bunch of doo-dads. The round disks remind me of the cookie gun my mom makes me use every christmas, LOL!
ReplyDeleteThat's quite the collection Mary Beth.....the search is half the fun right? xox
ReplyDeleteDoo-dads, bits'n'pieces...call them whatever they are absolutely necessary...I know...I have a stash too.
ReplyDeleteIt's like a picture of "I SPY". I love bits n' bobs, they make me feel happy. Have you ever heard of The Paper Flea Market?? The website is http://www.thepaperfleamarket.com. She carries some of the most unique and vintage things. Very reasonably priced too. I'd shoot her an email, if anyone can find you a teeny tiny hammer, she could. She carries paper and non-paper things. I too will most definitely keep my eyes peeled. P.S. I'm reading your little comment below about the abyss, and to talk to you, be careful what ya wish for, I can talk up a storm. I was once told by a neighbor/friend of ours that I was one of the only people he knew that could make friends with a gopher cuz I like to talk so much. True story!!! :D
ReplyDeleteNow that is what I call a treasure trove!
